Just a quick note to say that Steve has fully recovered from his cancer treatment and has had subsequent tests to say that it has been a success. Specialists will be monitoring him over the next 5 years as standard practice.
Paul, our apologies for not thanking you for the speedy remittance of the Trauma Cover. It really helped us out at a very difficult time and we appreciate all the help you and James gave us.
As you will appreciate, having the financial surety that we could still meet day to day costs was such a relief.

I have been with Paul Bartlett at IBG Insurance since 2002 and have Life and Trauma Insurance for myself and wife.
In November 2018, I suffered a heart attack and had to have a Triple Bypass Operation. This was unexpected and a total shock to me, my wife and family and friends as I was only in my late 40's and relatively fit.
Paul was there to help guide myself and wife through the claim process at what was a stressful and worrying time for us. We were so grateful to Paul in achieving my Trauma Insurance being settled so quickly, as this relieved a lot of financial pressure for us both during my recovery.
Thank you so much Paul for your support and guidance over the years and through my recent trauma.
PS. Be prepared for the unexpected as you never know whats around the corner.
Happy IGB Customer
An annual surfing/golf trip to Kaikoura turned on its head when, while getting ready to head out for dinner, a stroke took me on a helicopter ride to Christchurch Hospital stroke ward.
I arrived paralysed on my left side, with all the typical stroke symptoms. Luckily I received great care in Christchurch (thanks to my mates, Kaikoura first responders, Westpac Helicopter and the Christchurch stroke ward).
Five weeks later, I am able to return to my manufacturing company part-time. I am 95% back to full strength and luckily have great staff. I own the company and am now reliant on them for the survival of the business as I struggle with paperwork negotiations and day to day business decisions.
What's going to be great about my recovery is, I have choices. I took out Trauma Insurance with Paul and his team in 2006 when I purchased the business from my parents. All I had to do was sign a form, attach my hospital discharge documents and a full trauma payment was in my bank within 5 days.
After paying off the mortgage, I can now choose whether to sell my business at a slightly reduced rate and work on my recovery (and handicap) full time, or put a bit of money in my business and reduce my stress levels (my money is on the golf).
